Karen Garrity Music provided a 14-piece orchestra to perform for the world premiere of Tenor by Night, the Musical. 14 sold-out shows were performed at the Rose Center Theater in Westminster and the El Portal Theater in North Hollywood during August and September 2018. This world-premiere musical was inspired by the true-life story of its author, James Chiao, a Chinese immigrant who built an empire and a family before embarking on his secret fantasy: a career in music. Music and lyrics were written by James and Lily Chiao, then orchestrated and conducted by Charles Fernandez.
